For over 45 years Tecnofer has been producing recycling systems for plastic materials and it has been offering innovative technologies for the recovery and the enhancement of rejects coming from industrial processes: such as pulper’s rejects. Among the production rejects in the paper industry that uses recycled fiber, pulper rejects is the most evident and impacting on an economic and environmental level. It was in fact perceived as an irrecoverable reject, destined for landfills or, in some cases, for waste-to-energy plants. To address this issue Tecnofer developed a technology for the recovery and the valorisation of pulper rejects, offering a solution tailor-made for a better business management. In a recycled mill, pulper rejects mainly contain 70% residues of various kinds (mixed plastics, metals, wood, aggregates, etc.) + 30% recycled fiber. Thanks to its versatility and flexibility features, Tecnofer system can have different configurations to meet customer’s installation requirements. Main machines are:
